Smile :)

In order to make significant change, you know- the one that shifts your life, you will need to bring greater awareness and mindfulness to all that you do.


Start paying attention.


To the world around you.


To the people that are in front of you.


To what you are doing.


Listen.


Breathe.


BE exactly where your feet are.


Breathe deeper and slow your mind.



Now, put more love into who you BE while you are doing what you are doing.... even when you don't feel like doing it.


Making your bed, doing laundry, preparing meals, emptying the dishwasher, cleaning the house, paying bills, running errands, you get the point... - pay attention and instead of rushing and pushing through to just "get it done" with anger, frustration or resentment (which, by the way is the biggest drain on your energy) in your heart, soften and smile.


A genuine smile is not easy in this instance (be brave) but it will be what helps you relax and not take life (and yourself) so seriously. It helps you catch yourself in your story. It brings awareness to the victim many of us resort to when challenges arise or when things don't go as we think they should.


Smile.


Become the observer in your life and instead of feeling sorry for yourself, "hating what you do" or always pushing through, use that time to be grateful, to breathe and gather yourself.

Smile while you make the bed. Change your story.


Life happens for you.


Who do you need to BE? You are meant for GREATNESS.


Pay attention and catch yourself. Slow down. BE patient and be gentle with yourself while building more awareness around how you show up in the world. Take responsibility for your actions, choices and behaviours and course correct ( I call it "choose again" :) ) when needed.


What lessons are you meant to be learning from the situation, circumstance, person or relationship?


Pay attention.


And.... Smile :)
